MANAGING PRINCIPAL
Michael has devoted most of his career to training advisors in the creation and delivery of high-quality financial advice. His leadership career began in 2001 when he became the Manager of Financial Planning for the San Francisco Bay Area for a major national firm. He eventually served as a Director within the firm’s Financial Planning and Advice department, promoting advanced wealth strategies and leading a national team of regional planning experts.
Michael left the firm in 2013 when he co-founded Yoder Wealth Management with Anat. He frequently writes about various retirement-focused financial issues, and he serves as a select group of volunteers in creating material for the CFP exam. You can read some of his articles here.
Michael has a BA in applied mathematics and music from UC Berkeley. He is a Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist.
