Simon Glinsky

Simon Glinsky leads CEG Worldwide's strategy and consulting practice and helps lead the firm's executive committee. He conducts Executive Planning Sessions, retreats and other strategic development engagements with client principals.

Glinsky is the founder and principal of The Glinsky Group, a management consulting practice specializing in strategy, organization and executive facilitation. Founded in 1990, it has on its client roster such names as Wells Fargo, Barra (now Morgan Stanley), Kaiser Permanente, the University of California, Tilia Housewares (now Jarden) and Klutz Publishing (now Scholastic).

At Wells Fargo, Glinsky developed a reorganization for a 400-person business loan and services division to improve profitability and enhance employee retention. At Barra, he initiated customer-oriented business planning and a new divisional structure that led to significantly increased innovation and sales that in turn led to a fourfold increase in market valuation.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Glinsky helped found Match.com, Embark.com (now The Princeton Review), Kaiser Permanente's Care Management Institute and KP Online.

His career has also included stints with McKinsey & Co., IBM and GE Credit Corp. Clients at McKinsey included financial services, utilities and health care companies. He currently serves as a senior facilitator for Interpersonal Dynamics MBA classes at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Glinsky earned his BS in economics with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
