Jordan Gruber

Writer

Originally trained as a public policy analyst and as an attorney, Jordan Gruber has spent nearly two decades writing both shorter pieces and encyclopedic treatments of subject matter in areas as diverse as law, technology, business, psychology and wellness. He has been published in WIRED magazine, GNOSIS magazine and The National Law Journal. In recent years, Gruber has focused on the financial services industry, writing columns for the trade press and several industry books.

Gruber is an accomplished interviewer who specializes in producing innovative treatises and syntheses by combining the information gained during his interviews with existing sources. He has also worked as a grant writer for a large social services agency, as an associate attorney at Cooley Godward and as a research attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel at NASA's Ames Research Center. He founded the Enlightenment.Com Web site and was granted the first-ever publicly released interview with American philosopher Ken Wilber.

Gruber graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a BA in philosophy, received a master’s degree in public policy analysis and administration from the same institution, and earned a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
