Before embarking on a career as a virtual assistant in 2006, Ferrero had more than 25 years of employment and consulting experience as a technical writer, trainer and project manager for such companies as Sprint, Intuit, Toshiba, Disney Imagineering and Harrah’s casino. She established and managed a training department for a startup call center site, managed staffs ranging in size from 1 to 200, and planned and executed multimillion-dollar budgets.
She also designed, authored and produced user documentation for domestic and international audiences to facilitate new-hire and supervisor training and developed training materials and job aids. Ferrero also designed, wrote and served as the editor of two company newsletters.
