Richard Koreto has worked extensively in financial journalism. He was a senior editor at the Journal of Accountancy, where he covered accounting and auditing standards. After working on two Internet start-ups, covering hedge funds and small-cap companies, he moved to Financial Planning magazine. As executive editor, he supervised the re-launch of the magazine’s Web site, which won a Gold Award from the American Society of Business Publication Editors. He subsequently became editor-in-chief of Wealth Manager magazine, where he ran the most successful survey of wealth managers in the magazine’s history.
A past president of the New York Financial Writers’ Association, Koreto is the author of Run It Like a Business, a practice management book for financial planners.
Koreto graduated from Vassar College with an AB in English and Latin, and took journalism courses at NYU’s School of Continuing Education.
