Patricia J. Abram—Senior Managing Principal

Patricia Abram

Patricia Abram has been a highly successful leader in the financial services industry for more than 27 years. Her vast industry experience, which includes tenures with investment, insurance and broker-dealer companies, has given her the expertise necessary to assist financial advisors and firms in generating substantial success. At CEG Worldwide, Abram works with financial institutions to develop and implement custom, actionable strategies for improving productivity and profits through value-added marketing strategies.

Abram's experience includes five years with American Skandia, Inc., as senior vice president, national sales manager for variable life and managed accounts, and chief marketing officer, in which capacities she played a critical role in the company's record-setting growth. She also served as a member of the senior management operating group. Prior to her tenure with American Skandia, Abram served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Mutual Service Corporation, where she also was a member of the executive and management committees and oversaw all of the firm's marketing functions.

The rapid growth those firms experienced presented enormous challenges as well as opportunities—experiences she has translated into presentations about what it takes for financial services institutions and advisors to grow and succeed. Abram has conducted hundreds of presentations in the U.S. and abroad, to groups such as the Financial Planning Association, Financial Services Institute, National Association of Variable Annuities, the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, and national broker-dealer and wholesaler groups. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Maine and a master's degree from Ohio University. She holds the Series 7, 24 and 65 licenses from the NASD and a life and health insurance license with the state of Florida.
